Visit Pasadena Launches Official Destination Merch Store
"Threads of Pasadena” line celebrates homegrown brands to amplify the work of local creatives, makers, and artisans.
Visit Pasadena, the City of Pasadena’s official destination management organization, has launched the official destination online merchandise store. The first line of merchandise consists of totes, stickers, water bottles, and t-shirts proudly adorning illustrations of Pasadena. The store also launches with "Threads of Pasadena” a merch campaign aimed at collaborating with homegrown brands to amplify the work of local creatives, makers, and artisans.
The first line in the “Threads of Pasadena” program is a collaborative effort with local brand Pasadena CLSC (pronounced classic), by the grandson of Matthew “Mack” Robinson and great-nephew of Jackie Robinson, Pasadena CLSC. The merchandise line leads with a “Smell the Roses” campaign, with artwork by Dennis Robinson to celebrate the city’s beauty. Items include crew neck sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, and hats.
“We are so excited to share the love for Pasadena through our first ever online merch store,” said Kristin McGrath, Executive Director of Visit Pasadena. “It is especially meaningful for us to be able to work with the amazing creatives and artisans born from Pasadena’s hub of arts and culture. With “Threads of Pasadena,” we are honored to spotlight the brilliant local creators, who are making an impact in Pasadena, for the world to experience.”
The online merch store is available at: visitpasadena.myshopify.com. Items are also available for purchase and pick up at the Pasadena Visitor Center, located at 300 E. Green Street.
