The 2025 Chalk Festival returns to the Plaza at the Pasadena Convention Center in the historic Civic Center district. The celebration features over 500 skilled chalk artists from around the world who will come together to complete live, in-person murals on the Plaza ground for the two-day weekend.
The free, family-friendly event is perfect for a fun weekend in Pasadena with a live DJ and concessions.
A Silent Auction will feature works donated by each participating artist on a 1' x 1' canvas. Proceeds will fund art education programs for schools in Pasadena and Los Angeles.
The Convention Center parking entrances are on Euclid and Marengo between Green Street and Cordova Street. Enter address for the most direct route: 175 S. Euclid Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101
Take the Metro A Line to Memorial Park Station or Del Mar Station. Both stations are .4 miles away and about ten-minute walks.
The Convention Center is one block from the Colorado/Garfield bus stop on Route 10 of Pasadena Transit. Upon exiting the bus, cross Colorado Blvd heading south towards the Paseo Colorado shopping center. Walk across the wide walkway which cuts through Paseo Colorado and arrive at Green Street. From there, the center is directly across from the street.

Take Line 187 on Foothill Transit from Montclair to Pasadena and exit at the Colorado/Garfield bus stop.
