Celebrate Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month

In Pasadena, Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month in September and October is a city-wide celebration of the quintessential Southern Californian communities that enrich our community's past, present, and future. Join in on the vibrant events happening across the city and enjoy the brilliant flavors of Hispanic and Latino-owned businesses.

Latino Heritage Parade and Festival

On Saturday, October 5, the 26th Annual Latino Heritage Parade and Festival returns to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Latinos in the United States. Attracting over 2,000 spectators, the parade and festival begins at the intersection of Los Robles Avenue and Buckeye Street. The parade culminates with a festival in front of Pasadena City Hall, featuring live entertainment, free children's activities, food for purchase, and more.

Dia De Los Muertos

On Friday, November 1, the Villa Parke Community Center will host a vibrant celebration of the cherished centuries-old tradition of Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. The event will feature captivating dance performances, creative arts and crafts, delicious food offerings, and the beautifully adorned "ofrendas," all designed to pay tribute to the lives of our departed loved ones.

The City of Pasadena is commemorating Hispanic and Latino Heritage month by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America with a wide variety of programming, including a free parade, festivals, events, a movie night, and activities for all ages.
