On the corner of Mount Wilson and E. Mira Monte Ave., start the hike at Mount Wilson Trail Park. This trail was founded in 1904 and leads to the Mount Wilson Observatory. Please be prepared with water, snacks and other necessities. The elevation at the end of the summit is 5,713 ft.
