Dan is a modern Chinese eatery known for its dumplings and noodles – mainly its "xiao long bao" (XLB). XLB, sometimes referred to as soup dumplings, are a traditional Chinese steamed bun from the Jianan region. XLB are traditionally associated with dim sum meals and prepared in a steaming basket. The XLB are filled with meat, and accompanied with a savory soup that bursts into your mouth when you bite into them. Think of it as the Chinese version of "comfort food." There are also vegetarian options of each of the meals including pan-fried dumplings, fried rice, and steamed buns.
