Landmarks
"Pasadena Central Park was established in 1902 and is one of Pasadena's two earliest parks. Located in the heart of the city, the park occupies several blocks just south of the Castle Green. The park was designed during Pasadena's resort town era, to provide a Beaux Arts-style, relaxing and picturesque recreational space for visitors. The extensive lawns, bowling court, and tourist club is conveniently located across the way from the historic Santa Fe Railroad Station, which operates as a Metro A Line station today. Enjoy the outdoor respite in downtown Pasadena, where there's open space, shade trees, flower gardens, horseshow pits, an ADA-accessible playground, and more.
Most recently, the park is featured with Castle Green in the background in Apple TV's "Shrinking" starring Harrison Ford. Central Park is home to a historic clubhouse that serves the Pasadena Lawn Bowling Club and the Croquet Club.
