The Public Safety Officer team is the one place, everyone at the Pasadena Center knows they can depend on to help with a variety of things – large or small. The team is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They staff the Command Center to check in vendors, deliveries, and semi’s, to the loading dock. Also, they monitor radio calls for a wide variety of things: lock/unlock doors; lock/unlock bollards; on-site accidents; on-site hazards; on-site nuisances; other unforeseen odd jobs or emergencies. The team is responsible for monitoring and responding to fire alarms. They help direct traffic and crowd control for very busy events. All throughout the day and night they patrol the entire complex according to a map and schedule. By the end of each shift, each team member is responsible for preparing a daily activity log. They also prepare incident reports for accidents, emergencies, and crimes. The ideal person for this position must have a welcoming, helpful, professional, and positive attitude.
Rate: $20 to $25 per hour
