La Grande Orange
1934 Del Mar Station
La Grande Orange Café gives new life to an old train depot — the space was formerly a Santa Fe Railway depot, later Amtrak took over, and today it houses La Grande Orange Café, The Luggage Room Pizzeria, and Otis Bar. While famous heavy rail trains like The Chief, Super Chief, and El Capitan no longer travel to Del Mar Station, rails are still in use here, it's an active stop on Metro's L Line (light rail).
The menu features lemon ricotta pancakes, green chili burgers, and swordfish tacos.
