Take in the eye-catching works of this Pasadena festival that goes beyond sidewalk chalk. Over 500 skilled chalk artists come together to create masterful artwork in Pasadena, California in the month of June annually. Celebrating 32 years in 2025, The Pasadena Chalk Festival receives over 20,000 visitors and raises funds for local nonprofit organizations benefiting arts programs for underprivileged youth.
The 32nd Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival on June 14 & 15, 2025 (10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) welcomes over 20,000 attendees to the heart of Pasadena, California. Hosted at The Paseo on 300 E. Colorado Blvd., over 500 skilled chalk artists participate in the festival, to support nonprofit organizations benefiting arts programs for underprivileged youth.
The Pasadena Chalk Festival is free and open to the public.
Public Transit: Metro A Line
Memorial Park Station and Del Mar Station are both about 10 minute-walks to the The Paseo.
Blick Art Materials donated 1' x 1' canvases for each participating artist, who is then asked to donate a painted version of their proposed mural for the Silent Auction. The proceeds will go towards nonprofits for arts in public schools. They fund art education programs for schools in Pasadena and Los Angeles. More information is available online at www.lightbringerproject.org. Final bids will happen at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The 23rd annual car show takes place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at The Paseo. Admission is also free.
